Market Introduction of BIOWin2 (Low Dust Technology)

The new pellet boiler BioWIN2 of Windhager was introduced in the Austrian market with a spectacular event on 23 May 2014. The BioWIN 2 boiler, which has been developed in the frame of the BioMaxEff project, was presented in a refurbished showroom in the headquarter of Windhager in Seekirchen am Wallersee. More than 700 Austrian and international partner plumbers visited the presentation and the production sites.

Film Documentary about BioMaxEff

In September 2013, some short documentaries were filmed at Bioenergy 2020+, about the ongoing projects and activities at the center. One documentary is focused on the BioMaxEff project. General overview of the project and one of the field testing site (Lower Austria) are filmed.

Kick off meeting

The project kick off took place in Seekirchen (Anton-Windhager Str. 20, 5201 Seekirchen-Austria) from 25-26th of May-2011. Project partner Windhager hosted it. All project partners presented the activities of their organizations, followed by a fruit full discussion. At the kickoff meeting

  • Jürgen Brandt was elected as the “Chair of General Assembly / Technical Committee” for the BioMaxEff by all project partners.
  • Werner Granig was elected as Exploitation Manager of the BioMaxEff consortium.
  • The division of the project coordination to Walter Haslinger as Administrative manager and Christoph Schmidl as Scientific manager were accepted by all project partners.
